Product Version Numbering

DNAnexus has product releases of both new functionality, enhancements and bug fixes on most Tuesdays throughout the year. As such, DNAnexus does not use version numbers for our releases. For our regulated customers, we use a suffix in documentation identifying the date of release. For example, the Validation Summary Report released on June 4, 2024 would have the suffix "_20240604". We believe this is much more meaningful than version 1364.23.
